Wild chestnuts tincture





Every time I recollect chesnuts, I remember my country. Mild winters and hot chestnut.
On the side that they rose up some romantic feeling and they are the association on socializing and some nice moments in the autumn days, chestnuts are considered as a very healthy food.

How to prepare wild chestnuts tincture


Drank twenty fresh fruits of wild chestnuts and pour into a bowl and sprinkle with homemade brandy or seventy percent alcohol.  Keep in a warm spot for about 4 weeks.  Pour through the cider and continue it in a cool and dry place. It is applied by putting on the body for a place of enlarged veins, or in the case of thrombosis.

The soup from wild chestnuts

Components:

  • 2 l chicken broth,
  •  650 g chestnut, 
  • one chopped onion, 
  • 3 pendants of fresh parsley, 
  • 2 cloves, bay leaf, 
  • 130 ml of cream, 
  • a spoonful of sugar, 
  • salt and pepper to taste.
Thin out the chestnuts with a knife, place and cook with water, then bake at 230 degrees for 10 minutes, then cool and peel off. Chop the chicken broth, chestnut and chopped onion in a large cooker. 
Parsley, bay leaf and clove mix in a spice bag and put it, to be prepared with the soup at a low temperature for 45 minutes.  
Remove the spice bag, and then flush the mixture with chestnut into the liquidizer. 
 Add cream, cabbage, salt. 

Return to the ring and boil for a few more minutes. If desired, serve with roast chestnuts.
