Ingredients:

The primary ingredients to prepare the battisa laddoo are its medicinal herbs. Use 5 gms each of kayfal, sua, dalchini, safed musli, makhana, khopchini, sonth, majufal, and ashwagandha.
•    15 gm gond (Tragacanthin Gum Herb)
•    150 gm wheat flour
•    500 gm gud (Jaggery)
•    50 gm coconut powder
•    2 kgs ghee (clarified butter)
•    10 gm chikni supari
•    10 gm satavari
•    2 cups sugar
•    Crushed dry fruits like almonds, cashew nuts, walnuts, and apricots

Method of preparation:

1.    Crush and mix all ingredients and blend them together into a homogenous mixture, but leave out clarified butter, coconut powder, jaggery, and wheat flour.
2.    Take another container and mix both clarified butter and wheat flour in it until a paste is formed.
3.    Bring forth the block of jaggery and crush it into a fine powder. You’ll need a lot of force to do this, and it can’t be done in a blender. Preferably, use a hammer to powder it.
4.    Heat up the ghee and wheat flour mix and add the jaggery powder while it is still heating. Proceed to make a paste and mix it well.
5.    Post this, add this newly formed mix to the homogenous mixture of the rest of the ingredients prepared before in the 1st step.
6.    While this batter is still hot, quickly mold them into laddoos or small balls with the palms of your hands. Be careful since it may be too hot. But if you wait for long, it may cool down and not acquire the round shape effectively.
7.    Store this in an airtight container and consume daily.

How to use:

•    For adult women, it is advised to have 1 big or 2 small laddoos daily before breakfast on an empty stomach.
•    Children less than 15 and adults over 75 need to eat only 1 laddoo before their meal.
•    Drinking a glass of milk along with consuming battisa laddoos only enhances its benefits.
•    Although meant mainly for women, even men can consume battisa laddoos as natural and homemade food supplements.
